I have just returned home to Los Angeles, from 7 marvelous days in Paris. The museums, the streets, the architecture…of course, but the most incredible discovery on this trip, was THE ROLSER TROLLEY !!!!! I had never seen anything like it. Of course I bought 2 and yes….OF COURSE, it cost me untold amounts of money to bring them on the plane but, In a few short days, I had become a Rolser convert, and was willing to do whatever to bring these trolleys home.
I immediatley searched the web to see if I was the only “nut”for Rolser trolleys, and was pleasantly surprised to learn that I do not obsess alone. My only question is how do we get Rolser trolleys in the US, without paying an incredible amount for shipping, let alone the current exchange rate? I searched and did not find a single shop selling Rolser’s in the US. Can anyone pass on any information to me?

Did you ever find a vendor in the US for the rolser?

I live in the UK and I too bought my first trolley in Paris, when there for my husband’s birthday in 1998. It was not a Rolser and was quite small and very cheap. When it died, I asked my friend who lives in Paris to bring me a new one. She brought me a green Rolser and I was hooked! The bag is very strong, it has an internal metal structure that holds it square, and the wheels don’t make any noise as it rolls along.

Then about 5 years ago I found my cow print Rolser in a luggage shop and I was in love!!

I have had SO many comments and compliments on it over the years and it’s worth it’s weight in gold to me. The bag is so strong, as is the frame. I have had 11 x 2L bottles of water in there at one time and it’s just followed along behind me as always.

My trolley has a name – Mootro – a contraction of ‘Moo’ (obvious, really) and ‘trolley’. He goes everywhere with me. I take it to work with me every day and he sits there under my desk, making me smile!

As I don’t have a car, it’s a lifesaver. I can stop at the shops on the way home to pick up groceries and never have to even think twice about buying heavy items. My friends love to go shopping with me as I bring Mootro along and carry all their purchases!

The pocket at the back is perfect for holding my folding brolly and also a bottle of water. I used to use the pocket in the front flap for my purse, but unfortunately the nylon lining wasn’t strong enough. Now I have a small handbag that I keep inside Mootro, with the straps hanging around the handle to keep it at the top. I can then safely zip up my purse, keys, and mobile.

I’m a huge fan of Rolser and don’t think I will ever own another brand of trolley again! In fact, I’m now looking at one of the folding pink ones to take on holiday with me…

I know the posts are from a while ago, but in case anyone stumbles along here, I just got a Rolser Trolley from Crate & Barrel. ORANGE! I love it. 😀
